  1. SEARCHLIGHT BBS GENERAL HELP FILE

  3. Commands -->  Commands are executed by selecting the command and pressing the
  4.               <return> key.  To select a command, type the first letter of the
  5.               command, or scroll through the commands by pressing the space-
  6.               bar and backspace keys.  Use the 'Help' command for a brief
  7.               list of available commands.

  9.   Help   -->  To read a detailed description of a command, select the command
  10.               as described above, and then press the question-mark <?> key.

  12.   Flow   -->  Output can be paused and/or aborted at most times by pressing
  13.               Control-S (^S) to pause output, ^Q to resume paused output, and
  14.               spacebar or ^C to abort output.  Listings longer than 24 lines
  15.               are paused every screenful with the message "-- more --"; press
  16.               any key to clear the message and continue output.

  18. Graphics -->  Users of ANSI-standard terminals may enjoy ANSI graphics
  19.               support, including text highlighting, cursor positioning, and a
  20.               full-screen text editor for message input.  Use the Ansi command
  21.               to select the desired ANSI graphics mode.
